THE NAME OF THE LORD

TEXT: ACTS 4:5-12

When Jesus said in John 14:6 that “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me”

He did not leave any loophole for any man to think that there is another alternative except the name of Jesus. The incomparable name is JESUS. The network of service providers can seize but the name of Jesus never fails, Philippians 2:10 said “That at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth and things under the earth”

He said He is the way, it means there is no other way to rescue you except His way, there is no other way that can be a blessing to your life except the name of JEUS, and there is no other way for your destiny to manifest except through him, no way to get to your destination except through Him.

John 14:6 further explains that there is no other option to be saved, other than the name of Jesus.

In Acts 4:12, the Apostles were saying that salvation cannot be found in any other person, religion, or organization; the only place you can find salvation is in JESUS. The only place you can find rest, joy, and peace is in the name of Jesus. The incomparable name works where you cannot work, it goes beyond your imagination and makes a way for you.

Many organizations will call you, many people will promise to make you “somebody” in life; no one can make you somebody except Jesus.

The only one that can fight for you and give you victory is Jesus. Only Jesus can fight in that situation for you. He is the same God of yesterday, today, and forever. The name of Jesus opens every door, it is so powerful, You can call your president’s name but he may not be able to save you but when you call Jesus in the secret place, He will answer you openly.

The incomparable name of Jesus is our defense.

When you rest your back on a wall, it may collapse, you may rest on your parents, and they may disappoint you, if you rely on your lecturer, your brain, and your government, they may disappoint you but if you rest on the name of Jesus, you can never fall.

The wall of Jericho was so mighty but through the name of the Almighty God, the wall fell down flat. Goliath was like a stubborn wall of problems but David relied on the name of God and in the end, Goliath was brought down seriously.

Elijah and the prophets of Baal went to Mount Carmel, and they called their god till they exhausted their strength and power, he gave them all the time to try to call their God but alas, it didn’t show up for them once Elijah called on the God of fire, fire came rushing down and consumed all the prophets of Baal; that’s why the Bible described God as the consuming fire.

You must be serious about calling God, you didn’t just call him casually, you call him with all passion. Bartimaeus had this understanding and that’s why when Jesus was passing by, he shouted with all his strength “Thou Son of David, have mercy on me”

The incomparable name rescues people from all disasters.

The woman with the issue of blood knew that the moment she touched Jesus she would be made whole. When you touch God with your prayer, things begin to work for you; the heart of the king is in His hands, He can control it to favour you.

The name of Jesus is so powerful that He can send His angels to rescue you.

Acts 4:7 says “And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, by what power, or by what name, have ye done this?”

You must understand that in the place of prayer, your body weakens you as you pray asking you this same question in what name do you pray? Your problems and challenges try to stop you

We are in the season of darkness; prayer is your torchlight to navigate this world of darkness. The day you wake up from your slumber and arise in prayer, you take over.

Don’t see your problems, especially in prayers, see God. When you nurse your problems, your strength goes down.

Because Jesus is not in the grave, he is alive, so every good thing in your life that is dead has permission to come back alive.

The name of Jesus is more powerful than the source of your problems, you have the authority to stop them.

2.    Oh God arise, and let every enemy of my prosperity scatter in the name of Jesus.

3.    Oh Lord, release your warrior angels to fight my battles now spiritually and physically in the name of Jesus.

4. In the name of Jesus, let every problem, poverty, sickness, backwardness, disfavor, setback, hatred, negative dreams, and academic issues be terminated in the name of Jesus.

5. In the name of Jesus, all the enemies of my favor, I command you to bow down in the name of Jesus.

6.    Every good thing that is dead in my life, hear the word of the Lord, my business, ministry, finances, academics, career, family, destiny, glory, mercy, favor, star, I command, come alive in the name of Jesus.

7.    Arrow of satanic judgment in my life, ministry, career, destiny, glory, family BACKFIRE in the name of Jesus.

8.    The source of power of my problems, your secret has been leaked, you have been exposed already by Jesus Christ, in the name of Jesus, dry up and die from the North, West, East, South, and Center.

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS

2.    Your problems you have been nursing come to an end today

3.    Way will open for you

4.    Wonders and miracles you will experience today

5.    Those who want to use your blood will use their children’s blood in place
